Gamepoint Uppal is a world-class multi-sports center established in 1.5 acre campus in the east of Hyderabad. The eastern part of Hyderabad has lagged behind the western side in terms of social infrastructure. With the launch of Gamepoint Uppal, eastern Hyderabad now has a world class sports center. This will complement the Telangana government’s look east policy for Hyderabad by providing the necessary sports infrastructure.
This uniquely integrated sports facility is nestled between several government institutions, scientific labs and public sector units like Survey of India, National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) , Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CSFL), Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD). Establishment of Infosys in Pocharam and several IT companies like Cyient, R1 RCM, ProKarma Technologies taking up offices in NSL Arena, new age companies have started moving east.
It will cater to residents of Tarnaka, Habsiguda, Uppal, Boduppal, Nagole, Ramanthapur, DD colony, etc. Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Uppal, Hyderabad Public School Ramanthapur, Jhonson Grammar School, Little Flower School, etc can get access to professional coaching in several sports at Gamepoint Uppal.
This center has six international standard badminton courts, table tennis, a swimming pool, full fledged gymnasium (Gym) and basketball court. Professional coaching is offered in Badminton, Swimming, Table Tennis, Skating, Football, Kiddies (a multi-sport program for 3 to 8 year olds), Tennis and Chess. For regular players Gamepoint Uppal offers memberships in Badminton. Players can also book Badminton courts, Squash courts, Table Tennis, Tennis or Basketball court at time convenient to them through Netplay Sports app on hourly basis.
